Welcome to Ditchley Farm! We are a family farm located in Orange County, Virginia, on the beautiful Rapidan River. Ruth's family has farmed in Virginia since 1672, when her ancestors received a land grant from the King of England, and we are proud to carry on the tradition. We have been raising purebred LaMancha dairy goats since 2001, when we got our first goats as 4-H projects for our children. We have concentrated on improving our herd for both milk and show and we have some beautiful animals at this time. We are eternally grateful to Joy and Barbara Broaddus of Aspen-Hill’s for their phenomenal bloodlines and knowledge as we learn the ropes.At this time, we are down-sizing our herd, as the "work force" (children) dwindles. Our oldest two are both in college, so we need to sell quite a few goats. These were very hard decisions to make, and we have some very nice animals for sale. The kids are listed on the "For Sale"page, and we also have some yearlings and milkers for sale on the senior and junior pages.

We also raise and sell hay. We have a red clover/orchard grass mix and a 75%/25%
alfalfa/orchard grass mix. Look on our hay page for more information.

Our latest venture is as an independent dealer for ADM Alliance Nutrition animal feeds. This started in an effort to provide our goats with the best feed and minerals available. While researching feeds available, I found that ADM supplies all the feeds we need, and has the research to back up their formulations. Check us out!
